The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.

The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue classic car around the field.

The World Series acted as a positive moment in what has been a trying year for the city. An approximate quarter-million people attended to the Dodgers’ victory parade last year, and according to Dodgers player Freddie Freeman, fans this year showed equal or greater support.
